Throughout her career Shana Ting Lipton has tackled
au-courant and culturally relevant subjects such as the Internet as an aggregating prophet, eco-indulgence, bio-art, the science of love, human barcoding, professional party crashers, etc. for various media around the globe.
She is a blogger for
The Huffington Post, and a
contributing writer for the LA Times magazine. She was editor of The
Blackbook Guide to Los Angeles, and wrote and edited a weekly LA nightlife and culture segment for KTLA news with The Los Angeles Times online. She has also taught media related classes for Media Bistro.
During her years in Amsterdam in the early Millennium, she contributed Europe-wide city travel writing to various publications. She also reported on the Dutch design scene and launched
