Shana has served as a contributing writer for the LA Times magazine and editor of The Blackbook Guide to Los Angeles. She wrote and edited a weekly LA nightlife and culture segment for KTLA news with The Los Angeles Times online.
She has been a blogger for The Huffington Post since 2007. and is founder/editor of ChicTrek.com. She is a contributing writer at The Arbuturian, a luxury lifestyle magazine in London. Shana is editor-in-chief of The Positive, London's first newspaper dedicated to unearthing constructive, optimistic mainstream news and stories about visionary, out-of-the-box people.
During her years in Amsterdam in the early Millennium, she contributed Europe-wide city travel writing to various publications. She also reported on the Dutch design scene and launched iN2, a magazine about creatives.
