May 2008

I had the privilege of interviewing "Gaia Hypothesis" author and scientist, Dr. James Lovelock, who is deemed by many the godfather of the environmental movement. The result is a feature Q&A for the new online green magazine Kyoto Planet.

Chinese SoCal based video artist Ming-Yuen S. Ma prepared an amazing bus tour for the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, a sort of "screening room on wheels." Hear more about it in my article for Los Angeles Times' The Guide.

Another feature I wrote for Kyoto, "Petite Mystique," is about how the next wave of eco architecture is NOT solar panels and such but downsizing to tiny houses.

Here's an article I wrote for the Los Angeles Times Calendar on a documentary on the L.A. home designs of mid-century modern architect Rudolf Schindler.

Most recently I wrote something up for Dame magazine on the crowded and Cougar-friendly anti-aging marketplace.

The Blackbook Guide to Los Angeles 2008, which I edited, is now in stores such as Barnes & Noble.

Noteworthy in L.A.
