Shana Ting Lipton is an experienced multimedia storyteller, journalist and writer/producer of corporate and branded content. A US/UK dual national, she has worked with marquee-name clients from LA, Chicago, New York, London, Paris and Amsterdam — from Time Inc. to iNK, Condé Nast to CNN. Her writing has been globally syndicated and published digitally and in print, from Istanbul to Seoul, in 14 languages.

A Brief Biography
Shana Ting Lipton was born in London and grew up in LA. She graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University and later obtained a Masters degree in European Studies from University of Amsterdam.
Her career as a published journalist began as a teen with her work published in LA entertainment magazine Venice and Glamour magazine (Italy).
Shana has worked as a columnist, editor-in-chief and senior editor at start-ups, established newspapers and lifestyle and travel publications such as the Thalys European trains magazine and BlackBook. Her travel writing was published in the Avant Guides Amsterdam book. Shana’s articles have also been featured in airline magazines for Delta, United, KLM and British Airways.
While in LA, she wrote for Variety, Wired, Salon, People, and LA Times — for which she penned cover stories and a weekly digital column which also ran on KTLA TV evening news.
From 2014, she began actively developing her work in legal journalism and corporate and branded content.
She earned a UK Graduate Diploma in Law degree and Legal Practice Course certification in 2016, but continued to write for consumer magazines like Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, British Journal of Photography, Reader’s Digest, SUCCESS, and Robb Report.
From 2016, she worked with CNN's branded content studio, Create, on digital articles, video treatments/scripts and pitches for global client campaigns and new business. She has worked in a similar capacity for Euronews NBC.
In 2019, she joined the new Storytelling team at Lloyds Banking Group, where she has helped tell the story of the legacy institution's £3 bn digital transformation - by writing articles/scripts and turning her hand to creative producing on motion graphic videos (while hosting/writing and voicing videos and podcasts).
